Welcome to the last month of 2023. With it being December, Universal Orlando Resort guests have plenty of tasty food choices. We selected a few options for your December visit to Universal Orlando Resort for this week’s Top Three Things.
This week’s Top Three Things involve only the Holidays celebration at Universal Orlando Resort food. The holiday season food at Universal Orlando Resort will be served through December 31, 2023. For this week, we selected two sandwiches and a dessert option.
Top Three Things: 3 Cheese Grilled Cheese Sandwich – $11.99
The Battery Park area of Universal Studios Florida theme offers some returning favorites along with a new grilled cheese sandwich, The 3 Cheese Grilled Cheese Sandwich consists of rustic panini bread, sharp cheddar, muenster cheese, mozzarella cheese, and tomato bacon jam.
We found this sandwich tasted excellent. Also, if you pay for a cup of tomato or butternut squash soup, this combination serves as an ideal comfort food.
“VBLT” Sandwich – $12.99
Also, at the Battery Park location, the returning favorite “VBLT” Sandwich reappears for the holiday season at Universal Orlando. This vegan sandwich has established itself as an expected holiday season item at Universal Orlando Resort.
This year, the sandwich improved over last year with better bread, in our opinion. The rustic panini bread also used on the grilled cheese sandwich, makes a better sandwich than in previous years. The VBLT consists of smoked tempeh bacon, Divina tomatoes, arugula, vegan pepper jack, and tomato aioli.
Grinch Cookies – $3.79
Like the VBLT, Grinch Cookies have become an expected holiday food at Universal Orlando. These green-colored cookies provide a nice texture and quality. The menu description indicates that the cookies are cake batter sugar cookies. Still, the best part relates to a small candy heart (Red Hots candy) on these cookies. Yes, the heart is three sizes too small. For $3.29, guests get two cookies.
If the description does not entice you, for $2.50 more, guests can turn these cookies into a Grinch Ice Cream Sandwich. With vanilla ice cream sandwiched between two green cake batter sugar cookies, this holiday treat brings enjoyment to many.
Whether you are a Grinch or Cindy Lou Who, we hope this holiday season is enjoyable for you. We will be back with more Top Three Things next week. We create a Top Three Things list published every Sunday. So, we placed a few of the most recent ones below to help plan your dining at Universal Orlando Resort. As always, eat like you mean it!
