We hope this week’s Top Three Things finds you recovering from the United States holiday of Thanksgiving. In this week’s Top Three Things list, we will celebrate a national food holiday or two and embrace the holiday seasonal food at Universal Orlando Resort.

Top Three Things: Vegan Cookie Butter Snowflake

Last year, the Holiday Vegan Butter Snowflake Cookie made our list of best holiday food items at Universal Orlando. It returns in a slightly different form this year as the Vegan Cookie Butter Snowflake. This can be found at Croissant Moon Bakery and San Francisco Pastry Company. At least on the surface, this looks like a last-minute replacement for this year’s Holidays season at Universal Orlando.

Though we preferred last year’s version more, the 2023 version brings decent flavor. We also give it high marks as a vegan item. Since National Cake Day falls on November 26, this makes a sweet treat that you will not feel as guilty about enjoying.

Patty Melt French Toast at Toothsome Chocolate Emporium and Savory Feast Kitchen – $15.95

For what seems like a yearly tradition, the Patty Melt French Toast must be enjoyed for National French Toast Day on November 28. This savory version of a traditional breakfast treat continues to be one of our favorite entrees at Toothsome Chocolate Emporium. This brunch menu item is available all day. It consists of challah bread, a half-pound house-made beef patty, an egg sunny side up, grilled pork belly, and cheddar cheese. This also comes with a side of Lyonnaise potatoes. We love it!

Grinches Heart on a Pillow – $6.49

At Islands of Adventure, Croissant Moon Bakery sells Grinches Heart on a Pillow for this year’s holiday season at Universal Orlando. This sweet treat looks wonderful since National Mousse Day falls on November 30. The green-colored mascarpone mousse on a sable cookie provides an excellent base for this sweet treat. The mousse pillow features a red velvet heart.

We hope your Thanksgiving week went well. We will return next week in December with a new Top Three Things for you to consider for your Universal Orlando vacation. As always, eat like you mean it!
