Universal Orlando joined in the holiday season in the Orlando area late last week. We will have more coverage of that holiday celebration at Universal Orlando in the upcoming days. However, this week’s Top Three Things will reflect the addition of new seasonal holiday food available. Of course, another food and beverage holiday sneaks its way into the list for this week.
Top Three Things: Coke Freestyle Cups – $18.99
In honor of Carbonated Beverage with Caffeine Day happening on November 19, we think this makes a great day to celebrate by buying a Coke Freestyle Cup for use at the Universal Orlando Resort theme parks. The price to purchase these increased during the Halloween Horror Nights season. The charge to refill them for an additional day also rose to $11.99. However, for those that enjoy icees or soft drinks, this makes a good deal for your theme park day. Coke Freestyle machines are located throughout the two Universal Orlando Resort theme parks, Universal CityWalk Orlando, and the water park, Volcano Bay.
Jacket Sweet Potato at the London Taxi Hut at Universal Studios Florida – $10.99
Until December 30, 2023, the unassuming London Taxi Hut that sells loaded jacket potatoes and hot dogs will sell a new holiday food item. This will be the first time this Wizarding World-themed kiosk in the London Waterfront area will offer a unique holiday item. The Jacket Sweet Potato consists of roasted sweet potato with maple butter, dried cranberries, vegan feta cheese, candied pecans, and pomegranate seeds. You may not see a sign for the holiday item when you visit this location. However, the team members will be happy to make one for you.
Holiday Cookie Butter Crepe at Central Park Crêpes – $11.99
Central Park Crepes is another popular food and beverage kiosk at Universal Studios Florida theme park. This stand has been drawing crowds since opening in 2020. This holiday season brings the return of a cookie butter crepe. Last year, it was called the Cinnamon Cookie Butter Crepe. This year, the item received the name of Holiday Cookie Butter Crepe. The components look the same as in previous years: cinnamon cookie butter mascarpone, shortbread cookies, and whipped cream. Based on last year, we expect this to be popular and taste great.
We will have tried far more of the Universal Orlando holiday food and beverage items for next week’s Top Three Things. As always, eat like you mean it!
