Sprinkles Disney Springs produces plenty of seasonal or limited-time cupcakes. This time of year makes no exception. We decided to give the Pumpkin Cupcake a try at Sprinkles Disney Springs.
Sprinkles Disney Springs can be found near Frontera Cocina and across the water from Raglan Road and Gideon’s Bakehouse. This location is part of a larger chain of bakeries.
On a recent trip to Disney Springs, we decided to check in on this Sprinkles location. We ordered a seasonal cupcake, the Pumpkin Cupcake.
Pumpkin Cupcake at Sprinkles Disney Springs – $6.00
The Pumpkin Cupcake will be available through November 26, 2023. The menu description reads, “Pumpkin cake laced with fragrant ginger, clove, nutmeg and cinnamon, topped with sweet cinnamon cream cheese frosting.”
We found this cupcake to be a bit underwhelming for a Sprinkles product. In our trips here over the last few years, we have encountered some incredible sweet treats and then some average ones. The cupcake we purchased fits into the average category.
In fairness, we would prefer this cupcake over most of the over-frosted cupcakes at Walt Disney World. Nothing was bad about this cupcake. However, nothing screamed pumpkin or cinnamon either. The frosting was well prepared and tasted good. The cupcake base itself avoided being dry and held the flavor in a reasonable fashion.
Our issues revolved around when a menu item says “Pumpkin,” we want to taste that or at least pumpkin spice. This failed to live up to that. Still, the cupcake was not bad, either. As you can read, we feel torn about this cupcake.
Seasonal Cupcakes Available Right Now
Despite this average experience, we still enjoy many of the seasonal options at Sprinkles Disney Springs. Depending on when you visit, you might enjoy some of them also. The ones we officially know about now, in terms of availability, besides the Pumpkin Cupcake are:
