Lately Disney has seemed pretty worried about the status of their newest hotel experience, the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser. When Disney posted a teaser video it caused a lot of backlash that made them take it down and reportedly caused cancelations. Even the main stream media was calling Disney out over the pricing and reactions.

WDWNT reported on a pre-survey that they sent out to those with reservations asking them if they were going to cancel and now they finally post a video about the experience.

Kylo Ren and Rey are going to be there (which we have said before.) They don’t show that in the video, they just tell you that.

So they are doubling down on their sequel trilogy placing the hotel timeline between ‘The Last Jedi’ and “Rise of Skywalker,’ which, given how that ended up, I think it might go as well as it did then.

I’m not going to lie to you. Most of the video is a giant commercial advertising Batuu (Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge) and a bunch of it is a promo for the upcoming tie in comics and High Republic book. What you do get to see is some video game looking screens, Chewbacca, the Star Trek looking bridge we already saw and some flashes from other areas I assume.

It really doesn’t show much and talks at you, when it’s not promoting other ‘Star Wars’ things.

Disney may be getting a bit desperate in trying to win guests over to the experience. But when the non-Disney media bloggers and guests give their reviews, I would see what they have to say and go by that.

One way to win fans over is to actually show more and be sincere and honest in their videos, but they just keep using them to shill every other ‘Star Wars’ offering they are going to have and it comes across as a giant commercial, like this video did.

I do look forward to hearing the reviews. I know a lot of people don’t want to spend that much money until they hear more.
