The Marvel Cinematic Universe continues to introduce more and more characters and storylines that may or may not come to fruition depending on the reception from audiences. One of those concepts being teased is the Young Avengers.
Originally rumored to be a post-credit scene in 2023’s The Marvels, the scene has since been confirmed upon the film’s release. Kamala Khan is seen meeting up with Kate Bishop from the Hawkeye series. The sequence mirrors the scene in 2008’s Iron Man where Tony Stark meets Nick Fury about setting up a team which later became the Avengers.
Since then, many have speculated who might be joining this team. While in the comics, the Young Avengers were made up of mostly the children of the Avengers, this new team seems to be mostly made up of newer (mostly female) characters. In fact one artist via X, @agtdesign10, made a mock-up poster that went viral.

But it now appears that we were going to get more confirmed members of the proposed team. In a recent interview with Ms. Marvel herself, Iman Vellani, the scene was apparently meant to be a longer version with more characters in it. She said:
“There was another version where… does matter if I say it? There were more characters in it. I will not say which characters, but there were more characters. But that was way before we did additional photography. We knew we were going to get that scene. It was the last thing we ever shot on this film during additional photography. And so yeah, it changed a couple of times.“
While not confirmed it is believed that names like Echo (Alaqua Cox), Cassie Lang (Kathryn Newton), Speed (Jett Klyne) Wiccan (Julian Hilliard), Skaar (Wil Deusner), Ironheart (Dominique Thorne), America Chavez (Xochitl Gomez), Kid Loki (Jack Veal), Love (India Rose Hemsworth) and Patriot (Elijah Richardson) are all being considered. Perhaps even a version of Morgan Stark (Katherine Langford) could appear.
