This week we will be taking a look at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort. Closely followed by the two remaining Deluxe Resorts in the Boardwalk area, which round out all of the Disney Deluxe Resorts.
Sunday Showcase: Disney’s Yacht Club Resort

Brief History
Disney’s Yacht Club Resort was designed and built by the Robert A.M. Stern Architects firm. Ultimately opening its doors to guests on November 5, 1990, which was the first of the three Boardwalk resorts to open. This resort takes on a beautiful Martha’s Vineyard ascetic. It is also the home of a 73,000 square foot convention center it shares with its sister resort Disney’s Beach Club Resort.
Rooms and Facilities
Disney’s Yacht Club Resort features 635 Standard Guest rooms, which also includes approximately 70 Club Level appointed rooms. Guests choosing Club Level accommodations at the Regatta Club receive personalized concierge service and lounge with continental breakfast, midday snacks and evening wine, hors d’oeuvres, cordials and desserts. Additionally, Concierge Level guests receive amenities and personalized service beyond that available to regular guests. These include:
- Separate check-in area in a relaxed setting
- Dedicated cast members to assist with dining recommendations and reservations, transportation, and other personal needs.

Standard overnight self-parking is available to registered Guests for a fee. As to which this fee will be applied to their hotel folio upon check-out. All parking fees include applicable tax.
- Parking for Disney Deluxe Resorts is $25 per night.
- Valet parking is also available for $33 per night.
Complimentary standard self-parking is available while you enjoy select dining, shopping, entertainment, and recreation experiences at this Resort.
