Sunday Showcase: Disney’s Beach Club Resort

Brief History
Disney’s Beach Club Resort was also designed and built by the Robert A.M. Stern Architects firm. Just 4 days after its sister resort, Disney’s Yacht Club, it opened its doors on November 9, 1990. This resort is themed after the seaside cottages of 19th Century Newport, RI. ascetic. In addition, on July 1, 2002, Disney Vacation Club Villas were added to the resort.
Rooms and Facilities
Disney’s Beach Club Resort features almost 600 Standard Guest rooms, which also includes Club Level appointed rooms. It also has just under 300 Disney Vacation Club Studios and Villas. Guests choosing Club Level accommodations at the Stone Harbor Club receive personalized concierge service and lounge with continental breakfast, midday snacks and evening wine, hors d’oeuvres, cordials and desserts. Additionally, Concierge Level guests receive amenities and personalized service beyond that available to regular guests. These include:
- Separate check-in area in a relaxed setting
- Dedicated cast members to assist with dining recommendations and reservations, transportation, and other personal needs.
- Nightly turndown service

Standard overnight self-parking is available to registered Guests for a fee. As to which this fee will be applied to their hotel folio upon check-out. All parking fees include applicable tax.
- Parking for Disney Deluxe Resorts is $25 per night.
- Valet parking is also available for $33 per night.
Complimentary standard self-parking is available while you enjoy select dining, shopping, entertainment, and recreation experiences at this Resort.
In conclusion, Disney’s Beach Club Resort offers its guest with a more relaxed but upscale experience of a Newport, RI vacation at Walt Disney World Resort. With its close proximity to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios, this resort makes it an ideal option for those whom spend most of there time between those parks. This resort can also be the destination itself with its many dining options, arguably the best pool on property and the activities & entertainment on the boardwalk. Fun Fact: Disney’s Beach Club currently has the closest guest room to any Walt Disney World theme park.
