Shop Disney has unveiled yet another limited poster for the Walt Disney World EPCOT attractions. This time the poster is for the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind attraction coming to EPCOT.
The poster is $99 and is only available through 4/30/2021
Here’s the write-up:
EPCOT is about to host its first ”other-world” showcase pavilion, where the people of the planet Xandar present their culture and technological breakthroughs. For the climax of the adventure, guests will join the Guardians of the Galaxy on an exciting race through space and time to save humanity!
- Limited Release: Available only through 4/30/21
- Artist: Eric Tan
- Fine art serigraph printed on black archival paper made in Italy
- EPCOT logo and attraction title printed with metallic inks
- Metallic accent inks sparkle subtly as light catches them
- Enhanced with a spot varnish
- A serigraph is a reproduction of artwork through silk-screening. Considered a ”traditional” printmaking technique, it is an analog process that takes the careful eye of a master printer and color separator.
- Created using the same printing processes that were utilized for the original Disney Parks attraction posters. Produced on an updated version of the same printing press, originally located at Walt Disney Imagineering
- Inspired by Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy
- Archival paper
- 24” x 36” H (includes 3/8” border)
- Printed in U.S.A. by Cyclops Print Works“
The highly anticipated attraction was originally expected to open in time for the 50th Anniversary of Walt Disney World, but the only attraction announced to open in time is ‘Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure’, however, Disney is putting this limited time poster out, so maybe we’ll get an opening date during the 18 month, 50th Anniversary celebration or one for next year’s 40th Anniversary of EPCOT.
