In preparation for Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary Celebration, Disney Parks Blog shared the new Cast Member nametags. For those of you whom may not be familiar, the 50th Anniversary Celebration kicks off on October 1, 2021 and will last for 18 months.
In the announcement, Disney references the Cast Members having a staring role in the upcoming celebration. As we’ve constantly said on this site, Cast Members are the heart and soul of Walt Disney World. They are the ones creating the magic and they have all had a tough year. In addition to this, I hope we see more recognition of the Cast Members during the celebration, as none of it would have happened without them.
New Nametags for Walt Disney World Cast Members
Check out the announcement from the Disney Park Blog below:
“Whether in costume or professionally dressed, nametags are an essential part of every cast member’s look and are worn over the heart with pride. The nametag will feature “EARidescence,” similar to the shimmering Beacons of Magic you heard about earlier this year. The resort’s 50th anniversary castle logo is in the spotlight above each cast member’s name, along with gold accents and a touch of pixie dust (of course!). ”
I’m sure that this is just one of the many additions/changes to the parks for “The World’s Most Magical Celebration.” We have already seen Cinderella Castle being outfit with banners, gold ribbon and EARidescence in addition to its new paint job. I don’t know about you, but I am super excited to seeing what’s to come.
What are you looking forward to for the celebration? Will you be heading to the celebration yourself? What are you hoping makes a comeback? Let us know in the comments below.
