December means the holiday donuts arrived at Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew in Disney Springs. We went to try this year’s options.

On November 30, 2023, Everglazed Donuts announced the future sale of the expected holiday donuts. Walt Disney World had already revealed some of this information. Everglazed used social media for this announcement.

These donuts will be available for the entire month of December. The promotional photos show a snowman-themed donut, a Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer donut, a Santa donut, and a holiday wreath donut. We knew two more donuts, but the photos could not determine the design and flavors.

Thus, we had to wait until Friday, December 1, 2023, to find out and try some of this year’s holiday donuts at Everglazed Donuts. So, that is what we did. We ordered a few of the new holiday donuts. You can get all six for $28. Individual holiday donuts vary in price from $5.95 to $6.50. Also, we appreciated that these donuts changed from the previous year’s donuts enough to make a stop at Everglazed worth it. We ended up trying all six holiday donuts.

Peppermint Bark Donut

This one will delight peppermint fans. This consists of a standard Everglazed donut with a light chocolate frosting. The peppermint bark pieces stand out as the dominant flavor in a good way. The buttercream-like frosting compliments the peppermint pieces and bark. We enjoyed this donut most of the options for December.

Holiday Wreath Donut

This holiday wreath donut comes with green frosting to make the image of the wreath obvious. It includes candy pieces on top shaped like Christmas trees and Santa Claus, for example. It also features candy pearls. We did not like the candy pearls. However, this donut tastes like most donuts at Everglazed in a good way.

Holiday Donuts: Wintry Mix Donut

This donut uses white frosting to create the imagery of a snowy landscape. The wintry image becomes obvious with sprinkles on top and some candy snowflakes. Still, the flavors resemble other everyday donuts at Everglazed. This qualifies as the “safe” choice of these six holiday donuts at Everglazed.

Melting Snowman Donut

This donut looks great with a whimsical concept. It utilizes pretzel sticks for the snowman arms. A marshmallow snowman’s head completes the image.

This also comes with candy pearls for decoration. We detected some extra marshmallow flavor in the frosting to help with the snowman imagery of this holiday donut.

Holiday Donuts: Red-Nosed Reindeer

Everglazed Donuts created a donut that looks like a dear friend, Rudolph of Christmas lore fame. Pretzels are used to create antlers. The red nose is a donut hole. We love the cute design.

However, the eyes creeped us out a little. The donut base is the standard chocolate iced donut at Everglazed. This makes a cute donut with decent flavor. Still, we did not enjoy the icing on the donut hole.

Holiday Donuts: Bowl Full of Jelly Donut

This jelly-filled contains a vague type of jelly flavor. However, it does pair well with the rest of the donut and frosting. The design on top reminds all who see it of Santa Claus, and it works well. This donut offered a decent flavor. However, the taste matched the level customarily expected at Everglazed.

Peppermint Cold Brew

If that is not enough sugar for you, guests can purchase a seasonal cold brew from Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew. This special Peppermint Cold Brew will be available for the month. This drink includes cold brew, cream, white chocolate, peppermint syrups, and whipped cream.

No humans were harmed in the consumption of these donuts. Nevertheless, we put on a few pounds in the name of food research. We wish you a happy holiday. As always, eat like you mean it!
