Professor Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore is the final character to join the Harry Potter Design Collection from Mattel Creations. We first learned of the wizarding dolls back in September.
Dumbledore is priced at $65 and has a Wizarding World-themed display box, an impressively detailed cloak, and a luxurious beard. He does look a bit more like a Glamore Shots version of Gandalf; I’m not going to lie.
The Headmaster of Hogwarts may be pre-ordered now and is expected to ship soon!
Dumbledore’s face is … interesting. He looks like a Ken doll wearing a false beard. He’s so youthful, and look at those blue eyes!
However, not all is well with this Dumbledore doll. Albus’s right hand is stricken with the curse from Marvolo Gaunt’s cursed ring. Although not as withered as in the films, it is still offputting.
“Relive the magic of Hogwarts and celebrate the 100th anniversary of Warner Bros. with the Harry Potter Design Collection. The third iconic character in the series, Albus Dumbledore, is regarded as the greatest wizard of modern times. Dumbledore has Marvolo Gaunt’s cursed ring holding the Resurrection Stone on his finger and is wearing his signature robe with embroidered details, flat hat, and his famous half-moon glasses.“
Dumbledore does not come with his wand. If you want the Elder Wand, you must pick up the Lord Voldemort doll Mattel, released in October.
Here’s what you get in the box:
- High-quality doll with premium finishes and materials
- Wearing a detailed cloak, flat hat, half-moon glasses, and Marvolo Gaunt’s cursed ring holding the Resurrection Stone
- Stands 12 inches tall
- Arrives in display-worthy textured packaging with gold foil and story details
- Includes Certificate of Authenticity
- Doll stand
