Disney’s latest color trend will be hitting on September 13th and it will be called Arendelle Aqua.
This is the sixth color “trend” that Disney has done. Previously we had Imagination Pink, Potion Purple, Millennial Pink, Magic Mirror Metallic and Briar Rose Gold.
But why Arendelle Aqua?
A new “Frozen” movie is coming out later this year so that means it’s time for as many merchandise tie-ins as Disney can get and boy are they going to go there!
We are talking merchandise and food and Instagram, because they really do a lot of this for Instagram.
Delish has posted some images of the new color and some of the new pieces and talked about how this will be pushed globally.
It’s being added to desserts and merchandise through Disneyland Resort, Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Paris, Hong Kong Disneyland, and Shanghai Disney Resort. Yep, that’s alllll the Disney parks, making it the first-ever global release for a color collection. The world’s love of Elsa and Anna knows no bounds!!

Sugar Drop Donut– All Star Music Resort

Frozen Arendelle Aqua Lemonade– Disney Springs (So to take a photo like this you need to first go to Disney Springs, then catch the bus to Epcot, and then walk the whole way to Norway, while not drinking it and keeping it frozen. Easy)

From the images there will clearly be a sequin backpack, a spirit jersey, a phone case and a t-shirt as well.
Don’t get me wrong. I do think it’s a very pretty color, but I’m just kind of getting burn out on the constant “color trend” for everything. It might fit with winter, but it kind of throws me off a bit for Fall. Honestly, it reminds me of Spring/Summer more than anything.
Prepare yourselves, winter is coming to Instagram in the form of Arendelle Aqua, because “Frozen Blue” doesn’t sound as cool. (That cupcake looks pretty good though.)
