Disneyland Making Mask Guideline Changes At Downtown Disney Following Walt Disney World Changes

Disneyland is also following suit and making the same mask guideline changes that we have seen with Walt Disney World. Currently Disneyland only had their Downtown Disney District open, but the updated guidelines are being put in place right now.

The new guidelines for face masks now will prohibit masks that have the valves, mesh material or holes, like we saw with Walt Disney World. All of these types of masks can allow “unfiltered air” to escape. Apparently more so than the cloth ones do.

Another change is the “sip and stroll” that we already saw changed at Walt Disney World as well. Now you aren’t allowed to wander around with your mask down or off while you eat or drink.  You can still eat or drink and remove your mask, but only if you are stationary and social distancing.

It’s not surprising that Disneyland also put these rules in place. I would be more surprised if they didn’t after they were added to Walt Disney World.

Keep this all in mind if you are visiting Disneyland’s Downtown Disney District, or the parks whenever they actually reopen.
