6-Year Old Who Helped Dorian Evacuees Gets Trip To Disney After All

Last week I told you about little six year old Jermaine Bell.  He and his family were planning a trip to Walt Disney World for his seventh birthday, but when he saw those fleeing Hurricane Dorian, he took the money and used it to provide a bit of comfort to those who needed it. Using his trip money to buy hundreds of hot dogs, bags of chips and bottles of water.

I’m happy to say that there is an even happier ending to this story. He and his family are going to Walt Disney World after all. Disney heard about what he did and are giving him and his family a trip.

How they told him is just as special. Over the weekend a Disney bus came to his house and cast members told him that he was still going to go–all on his actual birthday.

What did the six year old learn from this?
“Be strong. And if you do something good, good will come back to you,” Bell said.

I am so glad Disney did this. Honesty, I figured they would if they heard about it.

I’m just so happy he gets to go, because he truly deserves it. It’s so easy to get caught up in life and forget that some people need our help and kindness. I think we can all learn a big lesson from Jermaine.

Have fun at Walt Disney World Jermaine and family! Lots of love from PNP.
