Top 5 Christmas LEGO Sets For Disney Fans

I don’t think a single Christmas went by when I was a kit where there wasn’t at least one LEGO set under the tree. Back in those days, we didn’t have as many IP-based options. Today, however, is much different. Look at the Top 5 LEGO sets that celebrate Christmas and are perfect for Disney fans!

#5 – VHS Tapes and Villains!

Growing up, Disney would advertise their VHS tapes and McDonald’s tie-ins hardcore during the holiday season. We had Little Mermaid and Oliver & Company plushy ornaments, and don’t forget the vast clamshell VHS releases.

Fans of Disney’s villains and retro video media will surely love the Villain Icons set. The $129.99 kit comprises 1,540 pieces and encompasses animated movies’ classics and Disney Renaissance areas.

#4 – Star Wars Advent Calendar

There’s no Disney-themed Advent Calendar this year, but there is one for Star Wars. 2023’s offering contains Mini Figures from the Prequels, Original Trilogy, and The Bad Batch. You’ll get 24 builds out of this one for $44.99.

The biggest draw, for me, is having a Christmas sweater-wearing Emporer Palpatine.

#3 – Santa’s Visit

Like our Top 5 Halloween LEGO Sets article, sometimes great kits have been discontinued, but you can still pick them up elsewhere. Santa’s Visit (10293) is one of those.

Although it’s officially sold out on LEGO’s site, you can still pick up this 1,445 snow-covered home from places like Amazon. The set is also discounted right now, so you’ll get it for even less than if you’d picked it up directly from LEGO!

The tiny house includes a Christmas tree, chimney, stockings, and a Santa Minifigure. Yes, you can send Saint Nick down the chimney!

#2 – Ideas Home Alone

The Mouse now owns the Home Alone brand thanks to Disney’s purchase of 20th Century Fox. So, technically, the LEGO McCallister House set falls within the realm of Disney. While it may be on this list as a part of a technicality, kit 21330 is pretty impressive.

Like most sets this size, it’s expensive but also loaded with details. It’s sure to please fans of the movie and those who love larger LEGO kits.

The LEGO Ideas Home Alone kit comprises 3,955 pieces, including more than Kevin’s residence. You’ll get the Wet Bandits OH-KAY plumbing van and Kevin’s treehouse.

The house features multiple floors (attic included) and fully opens, revealing several iconic LEGO-sized scenes from the classic John Hughes and Chris Columbus movie.

#1 – Disney 100 Cinderella’s Castle

Although Walt Disney World’s Cinderella’s Castle isn’t holiday-themed regarding LEGO kits, the final product makes for a great display piece and a wonderful gift for a park fan. Even I’d be ecstatic to find this $399.99 set under my tree, and I’m a man—a manly man who likes manly things.

Set #4837 is not the first time the castle has been released. In 2021, we saw a different colored version arrive with minor differences and a $349.99 price tag.

Dishonorable Mentions – The Coal Alternative

I will show my bias here by using this as a last-minute gift idea for people you don’t like. It’s no secret that I wouldn’t say I like Disney’s Star Wars. So, if I had to buy a LEGO set for someone I wasn’t fond of, I’d get them the Millennium Falcon Holiday Diorama. It includes Rey, Finn, Chewy, and Porgs. I wouldn’t say I like porgs. You have no idea. Stupid toyetic garbage!

Use the $29.99 set instead of coal this year.
