The Tomorrowland Speedway closed down for a refurbishment to shorten and move the track around the building site of the upcoming Tron coaster.
Here’s a look at the construction in early April:
Today, May 18, it’s all finished and reopening for guests!
What’s different?
Not much. The track is shorter and re-routed and it’s been repainted. But they did not bring in the electric cars or any of the overlays that people thought they might do. It’s mostly the same.
Guests will now be able to race the Speedway in Tomorrowland again! Plus it will help spread out the lines a bit and with the larger crowds it’s needed.
