The Candlelight Processional Returns To EPCOT This Holiday Season

0

Disney has announced that the Candlelight Processional will be returning to EPCOT for the holiday season. The show was cancelled last year due to COVID-19, but is returning this year to the America Gardens Theatre with the Voices of Liberty, Disney Cast Member choir, live orchestra and celebrity guest narrators telling the traditional Christmas story.

We do have a look at some of the narrators coming this year! So far Disney has mentioned Chita Rivera, Jodi Benson, Alton Fitzgerald White, Lisa Ling, Steven Curtis Chapman, Blair Underwood and Pat Sajak.  More celebrities are being added and will be announced in the next few weeks.

You can book dining packages for the event starting on October 26th.

If you are unfamiliar with the dining packages it is a way to get tickets for seating at the event by eating at select EPCOT restaurants that day. You can buy the package and get guaranteed seating for one of the showings.

Also coming back to EPCOT’s Festival of the Holidays are:

  • Las Posadas at the Mexico pavilion
  • Canadian Holiday Voyageurs in the Canada pavilion
  • Chinese Lion Dance celebrating the new year in the China pavilion
  • A Hanukkah storyteller along the promenade and delightful holiday storytellers in France, Italy, Japan, Norway and the United Kingdom
  • And outside The American Adventure, you can wave hello to Santa Claus as he gets ready for the big day.
  • The Holiday Cookie Stroll
  • Olaf’s Holiday Tradition Expedition Scavenger Hunt
  • Holiday Kitchens

The Holiday Kitchens will be returning with global offerings along with a new kitchen called the Chestnuts & Good Cheer Holiday Kitchen.  This location will serve fire-roasted chestnuts and cinnamon-glazed almonds and cashews.

All of this (except Dining package) is included in your ticket for entry to EPCOT during the season starting on November 26 – December 30, 2021.
