Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel and Spa will soon be home to a new “upscale experience”- Tenaya Stone Spa.
The Tenaya Stone Spay will be a full-service spa that will offer a wide range of treatments from facials, to salon services.
The word itself apparently means “to dream” and Disney Imagineers are designing the new area to reflect that idea ” featuring Craftsman architecture, comfortable, well-appointed furnishings, a water feature and a stained glass window of the rising sun.”
It will open in spring 2020 and will be located near GCH Craftsman Bar and the Disney California Adventure park entrance.
It sounds nice and all, but again Disney is making these “upscale” additions to cater to wealthier clients. Maybe they can start doing all of these “upscale” upcharges and stop raising the prices on tickets, food, souvenirs, etc. instead? I like that plan!
