Disney+ is getting ‘Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker’ two months earlier than originally planned according to Variety.
Of course Disney is going to drop it in Disney+ on, May 4th- Star Wars Day. And the new “Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian” show will also debut on May the Fourth.
This will make all six of the Star Wars films and the 3 three Disney films available in one place available for streaming.
I’m not surprised by this move as Disney is trying very hard to push Disney+ right now, but can you really blame them when films and their parks are shut down over the Coronavirus.
Something else some of you can look forward to next week!
“Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” will be available to Disney+ subscribers all over the world on May 4, except for Norway, they will get it on May 5th due to their Remembrance Day holiday.
