The movie is still blasting forward. Just yesterday the movie brought almost $28 million! In it’s first six days it brought in $356.5 million domestically and it just a few million behind “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” for the same time period. That movie wasn’t during a pandemic. I can only imagine what it would have done all things being equal.
Globally it’s brought in about $751 million, up until yesterday, and it isn’t slowing down that much.
It seems that people just really enjoy this film and it’s a rare occasion where critics and fans are mostly in agreement.
