Space Mountain 45th Anniversary Pins Are Coming January 2020

1

Next year marks the 45th Anniversary of Space Mountain!

The original attraction opened on January 15th, 1975 at Walt Disney World’s Tomorrowland and has been taking guests on an epic journey ever since!

To celebrate the 45th anniversary Disney will have a couple of new pins. The release date for these are on January 15th, 2020 of course!

First is Mickey in a Space Suit!

It’s a Limited Edition pin. I’m hearing the edition size is 1,500, but I’m not sure if that’s been confirmed.

There is also a Passholder Pin that Glows-in-the-Dark!

Again this is a Limited Edition pin, and I’m hearing 1,500 pieces.

But that isn’t all!  Space Mountain Anniversary Minnie Mouse Ears have also been spotted!

According to the site Nerdbot these have been spotted. Space Mountain is one of my daughter’s favorite rides! She’s going to want these!

No idea on release date for Minnie ears, but I’m guessing it would be around the release date on the pins. I’m sure there will be much more merchandise released and we will learn more closer to the date!

What do you think? Comment and let us know!

Disney has been a big part of my life for years--from family trips to WDW to growing up on Disney classics, TV, and movies. Prior to Pirates and Princesses I successfully ran social media and websites since 2010. I've also been a public speaker and presenter since 2007. I'm the co-host for the YouTube channel Clownfish TV as well as the podcast/ Youtube Pirates and Princesses (PNP) channel. Former contributor, online personality and acting social media manager at The Kingdom Insider (which we built from the ground up and ran from 2017-2019 --Thom didn't quit FYI) Pirates and Princesses was started by my husband and I several years ago. We loved Disney and wanted to honestly cover all aspects from pop-culture to the parks from a consumer focused stance. Living OUR happily ever after getting to do what we love with our two kids! Creating fun content and building new things. Certified art teacher, and mom. Opinions are all mine.
