Yesterday Disney launched their Park Pass Reservation System and it went about as well as I expected given how their websites are and how it goes when there are promotions.
Lots of people did get through and got their passes, but it led to it being “sold out” for Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Disney’s Hollywood Studios on some days.
Today Scott Gustin posted this on Twitter:
It’s day two of the new Disney Park Pass system at WDW — here are the dates/parks completely booked:
July 14 Animal Kingdom
July 15 DHS
July 16 DHS
July 17 DHSAll other dates available as right now. pic.twitter.com/hXW6T8GhsD

Yesterday we knew Disney’s Hollywood Studios was sold out on both the 15th and 16th, but now it appears it’s sold out on the 17th as well.
You can stay up to date on the calendar by visiting it HERE.
This of course left a lot of Annual Passholders wondering how they were going to get passes as APs can’t go until Friday the 26th, but Gustin already has that answer.
Disney has confirmed the above days/parks are booked for people with hotel reservations BUT additional spots will be released on Friday when APs are eligible to book.

So good news, they are holding availability for AP holders. Of course we don’t know how much is left or what percentages they set aside, but we do know availability is being set aside.
I also know many of you, that were eligible for passes on the 22nd, are still trying to get through. Keep trying. I know it’s frustrating.
