One of the best times to take part in the magic of Walt Disney World is during the holiday season. This year the 2019 Epcot International Festival of the Holidays will run from November 29-December 30.

During this event guests can check out the Holiday Kitchens, seasonal fun and the Candlelight Processional at the America Gardens Theatre in the United States of America area of the World Show Case.

The Candlelight Processional is an incredibly popular show that features a live orchestra, choir and a celebrity narrator, to tell the traditional Christmas story.

Shows are performed three times nightly at 5PM, 6:45PM, and 8:15PM.

Today Disney has announced the following celebrities for 2019:

  • Whoopi Goldberg – 12/6-12/7
  • Pat Sajak – 12/16-12/18
  • Steven Curtis Chapman – 12/22-12/24
  • Edward James Olmos – 12/25-12/26

Stay tuned for more to be announced.

If you would like to attend this event I recommend using the Candlelight Processional Dining Package. This allows guests to eat at select Epcot restaurants and get guaranteed seating for the event.  The dining package is offered at breakfast, lunch or dinner and is very limited.

Bookings for the Candlelight Processional Dining Package will open on July 3rd and reservations can be made up to 180 prior to your visit. You can book by contacting Disney or by using your preferred travel agent!

Disney has been a big part of my life for years--from family trips to WDW to growing up on Disney classics, TV, and movies. Prior to Pirates and Princesses I successfully ran social media and websites since 2010. I've also been a public speaker and presenter since 2007. I'm the co-host for the YouTube channel Clownfish TV as well as the podcast/ Youtube Pirates and Princesses (PNP) channel. Former contributor, online personality and acting social media manager at The Kingdom Insider (which we built from the ground up and ran from 2017-2019 --Thom didn't quit FYI) Pirates and Princesses was started by my husband and I several years ago. We loved Disney and wanted to honestly cover all aspects from pop-culture to the parks from a consumer focused stance. Living OUR happily ever after getting to do what we love with our two kids! Creating fun content and building new things. Certified art teacher, and mom. Opinions are all mine.
