Return To Tradition With This Boba Fett and Han Solo Statue

Don’t worry. Disney may have tried to tame and rewrite Boba Fett, but the collectibles market isn’t going to forget the version of the bounty hunter people really want. He’s silent, callous, and badass. Sideshow Collectibles remembers that, and the new Premium Format Figure dishes out the awesomeness in spades.

Fett looks proud of his bounty as he leans against Han Solo encased in carbonite. Oh, this guy is getting his pick of Jabba’s slave ladies tonight! That’s the Boba Fett we should have gotten in the Disney+ series instead of the mid-life-crisis Fett. The 28″ tall Premium Format Figure is priced at $775 and will ship out between July and October 2023.

Usually, these PFF are made with a mixture of resin, polystone, fabric, etc. Here, however, there’s no fabric on Boba Fett’s suit. Instead, it’s all sculpted but still impressive. The levitating Han in carbonite is a nice touch, and hopefully, time doesn’t lead to the statue weakening. I’ve had it happen to a couple of things in my collection that tried to maintain the same effect. Eventually, the rods hidden inside the figures would weaken, or the connection points would separate and crack.

The Boba Fett and Han Solo in Carbonite Premium Format Figure measures 27.75” tall and 11” wide as the renowned bounty hunter proudly poses in front of his latest trophy. The hunt for Han Solo has landed the smooth-talking smuggler in a block of carbonite, frozen for all the galaxy to see. Boba Fett casually gloats with relaxed posture while the unique presentation of this piece makes it appear as if his capture is floating above the carbon-freezing chamber base. Both the base and the carbonite block panels feature light-up elements to create an even more immersive display for the dual figures.
