Summer is just starting to kick off, which means only one thing … Christmas decor will be flooding into stores very soon. Before Halloween items show up, I can 100% guarantee you that holiday lights will be stocked on shelves before August.
However, if you’re a fan of The Mandalorian, then this weird invasion of Winter into Summertime may be welcome. While checking out upcoming Star Wars merchandise on Entertainment Earth, we saw a handful of Christmas-themed Mando and Grogu pre-orders.
Those who enjoy putting lighted statues on your lawn can now post a light-up Mando in front of your house. He’s 28″ tall and is fitted with 40 LED twinkle lights. Luckily he will arrive long before Christmas, with an estimated ship date of September. The price? $219.99.
The Mandalorian Light-Up 28 1/2-Inch Lawn Statue is just what you need to make that happen. Made of fabric and plastic, Mando in his bold armor stands about 28 1/2-inches tall and comes packaged in a closed box. He features 40 warm-white LED lights that twinkle, and he includes a 59-inch white lead wire and a UL adapter for your outdoor holiday decor. Merry Christmas from a galaxy far, far away!
Suppose you’re looking for something that feels a bit more Christmasy, pair Mando with this 30″ tall light-up Grogu statue. Unfortunately, baby Yoda is a bit more expensive, coming in at $259.99, and has the same release date as Mando.
It measures about 30-inches tall, is made of fabric and plastic material, and comes packaged in a closed box. Included are a 59-inch white lead wire, 39 warm-white LED lights, 16 red LED lights that twinkle, and a UL adapter for your outdoor holiday decor. Grogu belongs in your Star Wars collection and in your front yard!
Need something to wrap around your tree instead? The $44.99 Grogu light set includes ten little waving Grogus spaced 12″ apart. Bless your tree with the Force and magic hands!
Each light cover features Grogu waving and includes a string of 10x clear incandescent lights with a 30-inch green lead wire and 12-inch spacing. There is a 6-inch tail wire with an end connector to light up your indoor or outdoor holiday display. This Star Wars: The Mandalorian Grogu Light Set comes packaged in an acetate box and is made of plastic material.
The final Mandalorian-related item is a battery-powered lantern featuring Grogu decorating Christmas trees. The scene is enclosed, filled with liquid and sparkles. The scene lights up when the lantern is turned on, and the glitter swirls.
If the little Grogu in there looks familiar, it’s because these figures appear to be reused Baby Bounties figures. Target had limited Christmas-themed ones last year, and these look to be the same ones.
Featuring Grogu holding a red and white snowflake ornament in front of three decorated Christmas trees. When the switch is on, the lantern is illuminated from within and glitter swirls. This Star Wars: The Mandalorian Grogu Light-Up 10-Inch Lantern measures approximately 10-inches tall, comes packaged in a closed box, and is made of plastic material. Requires 3x “AA” batteries, not included.
Now, if you’re looking for a premium holiday decoration, there’s one more piece up for pre-order. The $649.99 Darth Vader Nutcracker. Why is he so expensive? Dunno. Do I want one? Yes, please!
If you’ve been to Disney during Christmas time, high-priced nutcrackers are common, but I can’t remember any that were this expensive. It’s not listed as a limited edition or anything. It’s a mystery.
Darth Nutcracker will arrive in September like the other items in this article.
