Obi-Wan Kenobi and Boba Fett Possibly Coming to Disney+

The rumors are swirling about two possible Star Wars franchise shows coming to Disney+.

According to We Got This, an “Industry Insider” has indicated to them that the Obi-Wan Kenobi show, with Ewan McGregor, could be moving forward after all.

An industry insider recently revealed to We Got This Covered that Disney is not only planning to bring Obi-Wan to their streaming service, in a brand new series, but it’ll also see the return of McGregor to the franchise. Details are scarce right now, but it seems the House of Mouse is planning to make an official announcement in the near future, so be sure to stay tuned.

An Obi-Wan Kenobi show isn’t a new rumor. It was going around before, but then Disney supposedly cancelled it after Solo: A Star Wars Story under performed at the box office. Now it seems, it’s back on the table with Ewan McGregor reprising his prequel trilogy role.

But that isn’t the only show in the works.

According to their source a Boba Fett show might also be coming soon to the upcoming Disney streaming service:

Speaking exclusively to We Got This Covered, an industry insider revealed that Disney will be adapting Boba Fett for the small screen. Specifically, for their Disney Plus streaming service. No casting or plot details were disclosed…

Again, no official announcements have been made by Disney for either show. It’s all just speculation and rumor, but if their “Industry Insider” is to be believed we might get two more show announcements. I know fans have been asking for both of these characters to get shows or movies for awhile now.

Previously it was indicated that there would be three shows coming with one being The Mandalorian, and one being the Cassian Andor (Rogue One) show. That would leave a spot for one show. It could be one of these will be announced or Disney could surprise us by announcing them both.

What do you think? Which show(s) do you thing Disney will do?

Comment and let us know!
