Contrary to the dozens of click-bait posts by sites claiming to be insiders to the magic, Disney has not canceled the upcoming live-action “Snow White” film starring Rachel Zegler. Should they? Many think so, but so far they have not.
In the most recent clickbait headlines, the articles are referring to an old project that was suggested back when Disney was making sequels to everything; it was suggested that they could make a prequel featuring a character who the dwarfs trusted but would later turn evil and become the Evil Queen from the books and films.
This did not go over well, and Disney canceled the idea. Now, it’s coming up years later to be used as a way to trick people into thinking the article is about Disney canceling the current live-action “Snow White” film.
Another rumor going around is that Jenna Ortega is replacing Rachel Zegler as the lead character. The rumor comes from a TikTok account called Celebrity_Corner. Of course, nothing official has been announced to confirm this. They claim sources have told them the reshoots caused by recasting Snow White have delayed the release of the film and not the strikes.

I’m not going to say this is impossible, but it would seem like an odd choice to say nothing while it’s refilmed. Those who are in support of the film because of Zegler could turn against it, and Disney would lose even more for the film.
But they did this with the “Rise of Skywalker.”
In their attempt to do damage control over the fans lost after “The Last Jedi,” Disney walked a lot back, and in doing so, they lost all the fans they gained from Rian Johnson’s film. It tanked when no one was happy.
At this point in time, no announcements have been made about Jenna Ortega replacing Rachel Zegler, nor have any announcements been made of the film’s cancelation. It could change later, but at this time, that is not the case.
Consider the source when it comes to these rumors.
