New Cinderella Lougefly Collection Coming for the 70th Anniversary of the Film

Cinderella has long been one of my favorite Disney princesses. Since I was a little girl I always loved her.

Now Loungefly is bringing us a special 70th Anniversary collection in honor of the classic Disney film. They are absolutely gorgeous!

Here’s a look at the bags:

Previously there were some great concept art sketches floating around and Entertainment Earth had them up for pre-order.

The backpack

It is meant to look like the dress that the mice made her before her step-sisters destroyed it.  I love how the handle looks like a sewing tape. I sew so it makes it extra special for me.

EE has it listed at a price of $70.

The Flap Wallet

This piece features the birds and a mouse they made her dress for her (again it was destroyed in the film)

EE had it listed at a price point of $40

The Anniversary Pearl Handled Crossbody Bag will also be available.

I love the handle on this piece so it can be carried as a crossbody or handbag!

Plus the pink scalloping on the bottom looks super cute with the quilted blue above it.

There was a preview of it on SideShow.com with a price of $70.

These pieces are set to release later this month. Then we can see the final prices that will be posted, but I’m thinking they will be the same or close the pre-order prices that these two retailers already posted.

I just love this collection!

Cinderella has even more special meaning to me since the last 3 years of my work life has had some pretty strong parallels to her story. Like Cinderella I broke free and am much happier and far better off for it. I simply rediscovered my glass slipper.
