Ever since the COVID-19 pandemic hit back in early 2020, and forced some ofthe theme parks to close for nearly a year, Disney has been extremely careful when it comes to social distancing between both guests and cast members. One of the most popular parts of going to the parks, the character meet & greets, have been limited for quite some time.

Most characters we’ve seen since the reopening have all been consumed characters like Mickey Mouse and Winnie the Pooh. And whatever unmasked characters did appear were all minor characters while the more popular characters were limited to parades. But now we may possibly be seeing the return of some very popular characters to the parks after all this time.

Recently on the Disney Careers website a listing was made for the following qualifications:

Disney Character Look-alikes: 5’3” – 5’7”, with warm, engaging, and outgoing personalities, to portray any of the following roles: Anna, Elsa, and Belle.

Disney Live Entertainment is seeking performers to portray Disney Character Look-alikes from specific animated films for potential future opportunities.  Performers will have the opportunity to bring these roles to life, in addition to performing as the world famous Disney Characters, at the Walt Disney World® Resort near Orlando, FL.

The return of these popular characters is sure to excite the most die-hard Disney Princess admirers as well as the meet & greet demographic. Though there most likely will be social distancing between guests and the characters as to not risk any possible spreading of the COVID-19 virus. T

hese job listing are more proof that the Florida theme parks are slowly returning to a “normal” pre-pandemic state of operations. Hopefully even more characters will be returning soon.

What do you think? Are you excited to see these popular princesses return to the theme parks? Do you plan to participate in the meet & greets?
