Lately, we hear a lot about bad behavior out of celebrities or fans so it’s refreshing to share a sweet story. Actress Iman Vellani, who will play Kamala Khan aka Ms. Marvel in the upcoming Disney+ show, recently sent a letter and autograph to a fan.
Vellani has been facing backlash some backlash with her casting on places like Twitter. Some are upset that her skin isn’t as dark as they would have liked. There was also a lot of drama over the character’s powers going from embiggened hands to crystalline ones. I’m sure with all that going on it was nice for her to receive a fan letter.
Her response was posted on TikTok:

Comicbook.com had a transcription of the letter that read:
“Thank you so much for your letter Tim, it really means a lot. Marvel movies mean the world to me and I am beyond thrilled to be a part of them now. And to know people like you will be watching this show with your daughter in mind is all I could ask for. I really hope you and Emma enjoy watching it as much as I did making it! – Iman”
I just thought it was sweet of her to take the time to sign the cards and answer a fan.
Ms. Marvel will be coming to the Disney+ streaming service on Disney+ on June 8, 2022.
