The Disneyland parks are closed, but that didn’t stop, 18-year-old, Jeremiah Smith from attempting to enter Disney’s California Adventure last night.
According to ABC 7, Smith “..was seen jumping over a gate into the back lot of California Adventure, according to the Anaheim Police Department.”
Officers were called and when they arrived on the scene they found the trespasser near the construction area by Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout. Which would likely be the are for the new Avengers Campus. The motive is speculated to be theft of either items from the area or construction equipment.
Jeremiah Smith was caught around 11PM. He was arrested for trespassing and released.
I wondered how long it would take for people to try and break into the parks, especially the “urban explorers.” Hopefully there weren’t any other incidents that went unnoticed.
