I’m not sure if this story makes me sad or happy because I’m feeling both emotions in regards to the Instagram post Josh D’Amaro, President of Walt Disney World posted.
It seems he visited EPCOT and some cast members and shared that the topiaries from EPCOT’s Flower and Garden Festival are still up, but the guests aren’t there to enjoy them.
EPCOT always holds a special place for me. It’s actually my favorite park, or at least was, the jury is still out on that. It will depend on how it feels after it’s been “re-imagined.”
But for those of you that might have missed the topiaries this year, here are some photos we’ve taken and our correspondents Lance and Lauren have taken.
I can’t wait to see them all again next year. Sadly, most didn’t get to see them this year as the parks shut down shortly after the start of the festival.
But at least Mr. D’Amaro is making sure we know that they are safe.
