Recently, Universal Orlando revealed their latest early park admission update. This update covers from March 2nd until Easter Sunday April 17^th. Most of the information remains the same. However, one significant change could cause rejoicing among guests with early park admission privileges. All on-site resort guests and some levels of annual passholders get one hour of early park admission to at least one of the land-based parks each day. Resort guests get early admission to Volcano Bay waterpark also as an option.

From March 2nd until April 17^th, both Volcano Bay and Islands of Adventure will be open for early park admission every day. During two weeks of higher expected crowds, Universal Studios Florida will be open for early park admission also. The dates Universal Studios Florida will be open for early park admission are March 12-19^th and April 11-17.

If visiting during those busy weeks, Universal Studios Florida will be less crowded at early park admission time than Islands of Adventure. Whereas, if you have early park admission privileges to Volcano Bay, you should use them. Expectations are that Volcano Bay will be busy those weeks as each day goes on.

Islands of Adventure continues opening every day for early park admission.  Starting March 1st, Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure returns to being open for early park admission.

This news should create rejoicing among Universal Orlando visitors. Early in January 2022, Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure was dropped from list of early park admission attractions. This led to interesting pattern of how to “rope drop” Islands of Adventure with many guests simply waiting in an extended queue until attraction opened.

For guests utilizing early park admission, this change offers many more options for the hour before official park opening. This change will lead to more people heading straight for Hogsmeade area. If you are not in the first few groupings of people, expect a queue awaiting your arrival at Hagrid’s Magical Creature Motorbike Adventure. Also, prepare yourself mentally because Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure could open late. This issue continues to happen with this attraction. Whatever you do, the return of this beloved attraction to early park admission makes that time even more valuable.
