Disney has just raised ticket prices on some tickets again. Now they kept some prices the same, but they are the base tickets for a day or two. If you want to go more than that (as most guests do) it is going to cost you more because Disney wants to keep those per capita increases high.

Here’s what changed:

  • 4 Day tickets are now $447.70-$596.74 ( they were about $435-$596.74)

  • 3 Day tickets are now $416.37-$555.88 (they were about $416-$555.88)
  • 4 Day tickets are now $540.89-$687.37 (they were about $525-$687.27)
  • 5 Day tickets are now $572.47-$739.92 (they were about $554-$721)
  • 6 Day tickets are now $586.96-$762.77 (they were about $568-$736)
  • 7 Day tickets are now $601.63-$785.48 (they were about $583-$752)
  • 8 Day tickets are now $628.04-$810.55 (they were about $607-$769)

Park Hopper Plus

  • 3 Day tickets are now $437.67-$577.18 (they were about $437-$577.18)
  • 4 Day tickets are now $559.53-$708.57 (they were about $547-$708.57)

  • 7 Day tickets are now $622.98-$806.78 (they were about $604-$773)
  • 8 Day tickets are now $653.57-$828.03 (they were about $630-$791)
  • 9 Day tickets are now $678.94-$844.66 (they were about $648-$804)
  • 10 Day tickets are now $698.43-$863.16 (they were about $665-$815)

Just when you thought Disney couldn’t nickel and dime people anymore they raise the ticket prices again. To be fair, it is February and they normally jack up prices this time of year, but given how well they did and their other pay to play add ons like the “Lightning Lane” many hoped they would give people a break. Nope.

Some of these increases are over $30 per person and then add how much per person / per day for the glorified paid Fast Passes and you are looking at a huge price hike. Most people are being priced out little by little.

Got to pay for those multi-million dollar bonuses and expensive, exclusive, housing developments somehow.  Maybe Disney needs to put up signs. Instead of “You have to be this tall to ride” they need “You have to make this at least this much money to afford the park.”
