Ready or now, want it or not, Disney is now focused on their “Star Wars: The High Republic” era. We know Yoda has been around for a long time. He was 900 years old when he finally passed. Disney wants to explore this time frame and by using Yoda they can add a familiar character for the audience.
Now we have a look at a younger Yoda. The new “High Republic” will take place centuries before “The Phantom Menace.” It’s weird because he looks like Mace Windu dressed up as Yoda. Or if they got together and had a baby.
Disney is going to use Yoda as a character in the line of young adult novels, comics, children’s books and adult novels that they are going to roll out starting in January 2021.
Yoda is going to have a large part in the “Star Wars: The High Republic Adventures” comic that will be released by IDW. In this series he will be a member of the Jedi Council, but he is working with Padawans “traveling around the galaxy to learn the ways of the Jedi.”
You can read about Yoda and his adventures with young Jedi in a few months.
