It happens every time there is new merchandise at the parks or online. Resellers show up and load up as much as they can and sell outs happen rather fast. Disney is taking a stand by putting up signs limiting purchases to two items per customer.

Yesterday pictures of people hauling off bags full of items popped up on social media. It seemed the Loungefly Halloween bags were the top choice. The bag sold out online very quickly. There was also a glow-in-the-dark Oogie Boogie bag that is going on eBay for $150 or so. People did report those were restocked in store today.

The problem is that there are sometimes limits put on merchandise, but that doesn’t mean that the Cast Members will enforce them. Usually you aren’t allowed any more than 10. Now it seems Disney is limiting to two.
People still walked out with bags full.
