Disney Cruise Line has cancelled all their cruises through May and those aboard the Disney Magic through August 10th.

Here’s a copy of the letter sent out to guests or travel agents from Disney Cruise Line Blog:

Dear ,
All of us at Disney Cruise Line hope you and your clients are staying well.

Our team at Disney Cruise Line remains focused on the health and well-being of our Guests and team members. We are carefully preparing for a return to service following the guidelines issued by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). As we continue to refine our protocols and await further technical guidance from the CDC, we are cancelling all Disney Dream/Fantasy sailings departing through May 2021.

We are offering affected Guests who have paid their reservation in full the choice of a 125% future cruise credit* to be used for a future sailing on or before September 30, 2022, or a full refund. The credit has automatically been added to your clients’ account, and can be applied as a payment option when booking a new reservation online at DisneyTravelAgents.com. Guests that have not paid their reservations in full will automatically receive a refund of what they have paid so far.

If you prefer to speak to someone directly, please contact a member of our reservations team at 1-866-325-6685 or 407-566-7797.

Thank you for your and your clients’ patience and understanding during these times. We look forward to welcoming your clients aboard as soon as we can and making magic for them and their loved ones.

Sincerely,

Cast & Crew
Disney Cruise Line

*The Future Cruise Credit (FCC) is equal to 125% of your clients’ original voyage fare plus the cost of the Vacation Protection Plan, if applicable. The FCC is only valid for sailings departing on or before September 30, 2022. Select Disney Wish block-out dates apply. Your clients’ original reservation must be paid in full to be eligible for the FCC. The FCC is applied per person and is non-transferable, non-refundable and has no cash value. Standard prevailing rates apply and Guests are responsible for any balance due after the FCC has been applied. If your clients end up not being able to use the FCC, they will be eligible for a refund up to the amount of their original voyage fare plus the cost of the Vacation Protection Plan, if applicable. Standard cancellation policies and terms and conditions apply to future sailings. Guests who previously received a FCC are not eligible for an additional FCC.

Like before, guests who paid in full can choose between a full refund or a 125% future cruise credit, good until September 30, 2022. If you have not paid in full you will automatically receive a refund of what you have paid.

This will impact even more sailings:

With Canada’s announced a ban on cruise ships, with more than 100 passengers, docking in any Canadian ports until February 28, 2022 Disney is looking into what they can do.

In light of the Canadian government’s announcement that they will not allow ships with more than 100 passengers to dock in any Canadian port until February 28, 2022, we are evaluating various options for the Disney Wonder’s scheduled season in Alaska. Once a decision is made, we will reach out to Guests booked on these sailings.

As a result the following Disney Wonder cruises have been removed from bookings:

  • June 7, 2021- 7 Night Alaskan Cruise leaving from Vancouver
  • June 14, 2021- 7 Night Alaskan Cruise leaving from Vancouver
  • June 21, 2021- 7 Night Alaskan Cruise leaving from Vancouver

  • August 9, 2021- 7 Night Alaskan Cruise leaving from Vancouver
  • August 16, 2021- 7 Night Alaskan Cruise leaving from Vancouver
  • August 23, 2021- 7 Night Alaskan Cruise leaving from Vancouver
  • August 30, 2021- 7 Night Alaskan Cruise leaving from Vancouver
  • September 6, 2021- 7 Night Alaskan Cruise leaving from Vancouver
  • September 13, 2021- 4 Night Pacific Coast Cruise leaving from Vancouver

Cruises are all up in the air right now. Disney has extended use of their 125% Cruise Line Credit through September 30, 2022, in an attempt to accommodate guests. At this point there are probably many guests who’ve gotten their cruise cancelled more than once.
