Classic Loki and Falcon Join Marvel Legends’ Retro Toy Biz Line

0

The Marvel Legends line is coming out with more figures featuring the nostalgia-baiting Toy Biz cardbacks. Those things were so eye-catching back in the day. You’d walk into a KayBee Toys and see a wall of your favorite Marvel characters starring at you with all those bright colors and budget-friendly prices.

Well, these new figures aren’t as friendly on the wallet, but they’re certainly better looking all around. I don’t think Loki or Falcon appeared in that original early ’90s line from Toy Biz. Well, now you can get them with the retro packing and in their retro costumes!

Falcon and Loki go for $22.99 a piece at Entertainment Earth. They’ll be priced the same at Target stores as well, but pegs are still bare at the brick and mortar stores. So your best bet for picking these two up would be online. Pre-orders are available now, and they should be hitting the streets in February 2022.

Unfamiliar with Toy Biz? The company started with the Batman 1989 toy license before moving on to other DC characters. The DC license was dropped in a short span, and the company went into full gear producing Marvel toys.

What started as clunky basic action figures grew into a massive catalog covering nearly every character. Eventually, the company started making 6″ figures with several points of articulation.
