Buy This New Yoda Bust From Gentle Giant, You Will

I’d insert an overused quote from Yoda here, but I’m way too cool for that. So instead, I’ll just tell you that Gentle Giant is currently accepting pre-orders for their newest addition to the 3-Dimensions Bust: Jedi Master Yoda.

This bust of our little green friend is at 1:2 scale and limited to only 1,000 pieces. This particular bust is based on Yoda as he appeared in The Empire Strikes Back. He’s priced at $175 and stands 9″ tall. The base upon which the powerful Jedi sits is designed to look like his humble home on Dagobah.

A Gentle Giant Ltd. release! Judge it by its size, will you? The legendary Jedi master, Yoda, is now the latest Legend in 3D! Measuring approximately 9 inches tall, this ½ scale resin bust depicts the Jedi as he appeared in The Empire Strikes Back, and sits atop a miniature replica of his Dagobah home! Limited to only 1000 pieces, it comes packaged in a full-color box with a numbered certificate of authenticity. Designed by Joe Allard, sculpted by Joe Menna!

We’ve covered these 3-D busts in the past. Considering their size, these things are pretty impressive both in the paint application and level of detail. I can only imagine what knock-offs of these would look like on a site like Wish.

You know what? I hope they do show up on that site. I love the way bootlegs are either totally horrible or somehow better than the original. Rolling those dice is a fun experience when it comes to questionable sites like Wish and Ali Express.

They’d probably all look like the original puppet from The Phantom Menace or that weird one used in The Last Jedi. Ugh.

What are your thoughts on Gentle Giant’s 3-D busts? Let us know in the comments.
