As people look for ways to reduce the expense of a Walt Disney World vacation, different accommodation options are being explored. If going on a Walt Disney World vacation, the cost of on-site hotels scares many would-be visitors. Some guests chose to stay at one of the Flamingo Crossing area hotels. Others enter the chaos of staying on US 192. Another solid option involves staying at one of the Disney Springs area hotels. These hotels reside near Disney Springs. As a result, guests staying here may enjoy a pleasant walk to Disney Springs. I have walked this path many times from various Disney Springs area hotels.

Disney Springs area hotels consist of Hilton, Wyndham, DoubleTree, Holiday Inn, The B Resort, and a new Drury Inn opening this year. All these hotels are reasonable walk to Disney Springs. During a recent trip, I made this walk round trip four times.

Let me take you on a photo tour. For record, this walk took me 11 minutes from the lobby of the B Resort and Spa to Earl of Sandwich at Disney Springs. This time included the process of getting through security at Disney Springs.

You then walk towards Disney Springs to a traffic signal to cross the road

After that, you will cross Hotel Plaza Blvd to the other side of the road.

You follow the sidewalk past the Wyndham hotels

Continue on until you reach the intersection with a Disney Springs sign.

Go around corner to either take the elevator or stairs to the bridge to cross over Disney Springs.

You will see a bridge with a sign to cross over to Disney Springs

There are then stairs or an elevator to take you to the main Disney Spring entrance of the east side of complex.

You will then go through security. Soon after, you will find yourself within Disney Spring with Earl of Sandwich not far away.

The ability to walk from your resort hotel to Disney Springs adds value to these “off-site” resorts. You can easily get to Disney Spring quicker than the bus service from many of the Walt Disney World resort hotels. Also, The Disney Springs hotels offer scheduled shuttle service to each Walt Disney World theme park. In addition, if you want to go to a Walt Disney World resort hotel for dinner or to explore, then you can catch a shuttle bus or boat from Disney Springs depending on the hotel. We all would love to stay at a monorail “Deluxe” Walt Disney World hotel on-site. However, these Disney Springs area hotels offer solid value to help your stretch your budget. The ability to walk from your hotel to Disney Springs will ease your stay while saving you some money also.
