“Jabba ruled with fear. I intend to rule with respect.” – Boba Fett

We’re officially a month away from the debut of The Book of Boba Fett – the newest series in the Star Wars universe to come to Disney+. And with that milestone reached, Disney+ and Lucasfilm have released two new character posters to further whet the Jabba-sized appetites of Star Wars fans worldwide.

Boba Fett (Temuera Morrison) and Fennec Shand (Ming-Na Wen) stand tall in these two new film posters, both of which are drenched in the chaotic sands of Tatooine.

The Book of Boba Fett is a spinoff of the wildly popular Star Wars series The Mandalorian, exploring the next life of a character steeped in legend and mystery since his first cinematic appearance in 1983’s Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back.  The series will pick up Boba Fett’s story as he stakes his claim to the underworld crime territory once ruled by the notorious Jabba the Hutt.

Along with the posters, two new TV spots have also been released, which can be seen here:

The Book of Boba Fett is executive produced by Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Robert Rodriguez, Kathleen Kennedy, and Colin Wilson. The seven-episode series will premiere on Disney+ December 29, 2021.
