You know, I wasn’t all that certain we’d be seeing Boba Fett in the second season of The Mandalorian. I thought it would be a tease to build up a third season of the Star Wars show. Then we saw the armor. Then we saw the clone himself. And there was much rejoicing.

Honestly, Cobb Vanth (played by Timothy Olyphant) was one of my favorite characters from the series. A lawman who was doing everything he could to protect his town on a planet that was practically ignored by the rest of the galaxy. Now he is finally getting his own Black Series action figure.

We spotted the man who donned Boba Fett’s armor over at Entertainment Earth. The 6″ figure will release in July 2022 and can be pre-ordered for $31.99. He comes with a removable helmet, blaster, rifle, and jet pack.

The marshal of Mos Pelgo, a small town on Tatooine, Cobb Vanth has earned the trust of the townsfolk as a capable peacekeeper and leader. Fans and collectors can imagine scenes from the Star Wars Galaxy with this premium Cobb Vanth toy, inspired by the Star Wars: The Mandalorian series! 6-inch scale figure has removable helmet, awesome armor, and preposterously cool weapons that you may recognize from their previous owner, Boba Fett.

I’d still like to know how the jawas got the armor in the first place. Did the Sarlacc belch it up before Fett escaped? Will we ever learn exactly how he escaped? Since the pre-Disney takeover expanded universe stuff is now dust, we’ll probably get a different take than those shown in the old comics and books. I hope it is a gripping story and not some cheap copout like Boba somehow magically didn’t fall in.
