Slowly but surely, normalcy is returning to the US. More and more states and businesses are reopening, albeit with new rules unless you’re here in Florida, where rules mean nothing, and we’re proud of it!

For those of you on the West Coast, things are more strict. Theme parks will be opening their gates again soon. However, be prepared for a different experience than you’re used to. The quality of the parks hasn’t changed, but your actions within them will.

Universal Studios Hollywood is set to reopen in two weeks. We got a look at the new rules specifically for that park, thanks to Inside the Magic. The guidelines posted by Universal are pretty simple:

Basically, follow all the same steps from nearly everywhere else in the country. Unlike Disney, the type of face-covering allowed isn’t specified. Face shields won’t be permitted in some attractions, however.

City Walk and the park also have a few other safety measures in place:

• Limiting capacity and following social distancing guidelines throughout all entertainment venues, restaurants and shops throughout the destination
• Increasing our already-aggressive cleaning and disinfection procedures, and frequently cleaning all high touch surfaces
• All team members will undergo temperature checks and wear face coverings
• All team members will participate in extensive training on our new procedures

On April 16th, Universal Studios Hollywood will officially reopen to the public following the ‘Taste of Universal.’ This event runs until the 11th, and tickets can be purchased here.
