If you are headed to any of the Orlando area parks make sure you have your mask! Starting on June 20th it will now be mandatory to wear a mask in any public space. Ashley Carter from My News 13 has posted the following on Twitter:
JUST IN: Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings has announced an executive order requiring every person working, living, visiting or doing business in Orange County to wear a face mask in any public space. The order goes into effect Saturday (June 20).

We have heard from many that the “mandatory” mask usage the parks were pushing wasn’t always being headed and many were removing their masks after they gained entry into parks.
Now, we have heard that Disney Springs has been enforcing the masks.
Many have been calling for Disneyland to delay opening due to the COVID-19 virus and there have been some wondering if Orlando was going to have to shut the parks down again due to the large jump in cases. Hopefully making the masks mandatory will encourage people to keep them on in the parks and avoid any more shut-downs that could happen.
As I said earlier, Disney Springs has been enforcing the masks, so I would expect the parks to be just as strict about it if not more so.
