Recently we visited the Walt Disney World Resort and we tackled a park a day. Here is how we managed EPCOT with minimal wait times. For our experience we did use Genie+ and we did stay on property so we got into the parks 30 minutes early. We also skipped ‘Frozen Ever After’ because no one in our group wanted to ride it.

We started off making sure we had our Genie+ passes. You can purchase them after midnight on the day you are going to the park. Also make sure you have your park pass reservation for that day. For our visit to EPCOT we chose a Monday, which can have lower crowds, but anymore there aren’t “low crowd” days.

At 7AM I was able to grab a virtual queue spot for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and I grabbed a Genie+ reservation for Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure for 1:00 – 2:00. Now if you can not get virtual queue for Guardians you can purchase the lighting lane.

We arrived at the park about 20 minutes ahead of early rope drop and then we accessed the early park entry line. From there we headed over towards Test Track. When the rope dropped we went straight to the line and got right in.

After we rode the attraction, we headed over to Soarin’ and walked right in.

From there we headed to Living With The Land and then we went to Journey Into Imagination.

After a short stop to check out the shop we went and got some coffee at Starbucks and visited Club Cool and the new Creations shop.

We were going to go the Seas with Nemo and Friends but our time was called for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind.

That ride is amazing! I highly recommend it, but only if you like coasters.

While we were on Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, my husband went over to Space 220 and got us a late lunch reservation.

From Guardians we headed over to the World Showcase France Pavilion to ride Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure. This one is cute, but not worth a long wait. Luckily we didn’t have to.

While in line for Remy’s I grabbed a Spaceship Earth Lightning Lane for 45 minutes later. Then we visited a couple of countries. My kids and nephew love Japan and the store there so we visited that location for a bit. Then it was on to Spaceship Earth.

After we got that finished we went to lunch. My review for Space 220 can be found here. Personally, it isn’t worth the hassle or the cost, but if it’s something you really want to do then by all means, go.

From here we returned to the room for awhile. Again, it was incredibly hot and we needed a break.

Later on, when it cooled down, part of our party headed back into EPCOT and did the tour of World Showcase, including the Gran Fiesta Tour. Since the temperatures were much cooler in the evening, it was much more enjoyable than trying to do it in the heat.

Hitting Frozen Ever After in the evening would also be a good idea as the lines tend to be lower closer to park close.

Of course this was our experience. You may want to do things differently.
