Why do Ewoks end up being the least liked species in Star Wars? Is it because they somehow managed to win against the technologically superior Empire? Is it those lifeless eyes? Is it because they worship C-3PO as their god? It’s a mystery as old as time.

Well, regardless of what you think of the tiny savage teddy bears, they’re still part of the Star Wars canon until Disney finds a way to erase them. Until then, merchandise featuring these little guys is still going to pop up.

Today we saw that Chief Chirpa had made his way into Gentle Giant‘s Milestone Statue line. He’s so special, in fact, that he is a web-exclusive item! Hot dog! Better act fast because Chirpa is limited to two-per-customer! The battle-ready Ewok will be shipping out in April and is limited to just 1,000 pieces.

Brandishing his ceremonial staff and accompanied by his pet iguana, Chirpa leads the attack on the Empire in this approximately 7-inch resin statue. Limited to only 1000 pieces, it comes packaged in a full-color box with a hand-numbered certificate of authenticity.

The Ewok leader was played by actress Jane Busby, who also had a role as an Ugnaught in The Empire Strikes Back, but she was uncredited. Apparently, there’s quite a bit of lore regarding this particular Ewok. He even went to Naboo. Sadly, it wasn’t a mission to track down and eliminate Jar Jar Binks before turning over unlimited power to Senator Papa Palpatine.
