Universal Orlando offers guests an incredible seasonal event included with their admission ticket, Mardi Gras. This year Mardi Gras happens from Saturday February 5th until Sunday April 24th. This seasonal event features parades, street entertainment, concerts, and food.

Last year, guest experienced a scaled back version of Mardi Gras. Due to abundance of caution, concert failed to happen last year.

In 2020, many of the normally scheduled concerts, included with admission, were cancelled either due to artist cancelling or theme parks temporarily closing in mid-March 2020. In addition, the absence of concerts lessened the quality of Mardi Gras overall in 2021. This year, concerts return.

The music acts performing this year have been announced. Now, as we have learned, this line-up is subject to change.

CURRENT CONCERT LINE-UP

Feb 5 – Sugar Ray

Feb 12 – Diana Ross

Feb 19 – Barenaked Ladies

Feb 20 – Styx

Feb 26 – Jon Pardi

Mar 5 – LL Cool J

Mar 6 – Marshmello

Mar 12 – Lee Brice

Mar 13 – Becky G Mar

Mar 18 – Khalid

Mar 19 – Seal

Mar 20 – Gavin Degraw

Mar 25 – The Revivalists

Mar 26 – Jimmie Allen

Mar 27 – Jason Derulo

Many of these musical artists function as recognizable names since they work in the Florida theme park circuit often. This year’s lineup offers many different styles of music. When you remember that Rock the Universe happens the weekend before, Universal Orlando offers concerts for almost every musical preference from late January through March.

There exists a few more things for people wishing to attend the concerts to understand. These concerts happen in Music Plaza Stage area of Universal Studios Florida. They will start before park closing and generally last until after park closing. Depending on the musical artist, space will fill up quickly. Guests should not forget these are outdoor concerts so plan accordingly.

Seasonal passholders experience being blocked-out of Universal Studios Florida on every concert day. Islands of Adventure will be available for seasonal passholders though.

As mentioned earlier, this concert line-up may be subtracted from or added to over the course of Mardi Gras.  We tend to get announcements of additional artists. However, looking at the current seasonal pass block-out dates according to Universal Orlando mobile app, these concerts nights may be final list.

Mardi Gras at Universal Orlando offers so many delights. If you find yourself near Universal Orlando, enjoying Mardi Gras will be time well spent.
