Today there are a bunch of images popping up with Cherry Picker-type cranes around Cinderella Castle.
Instead of a skrim they are going to use vehicles to do the work. This way they can have fewer disruptions of the shows and other castle activities.
Shows like Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire has been reduced to fewer shows to accommodate the painting process.
The moat around the castle was drained to accommodate the construction vehicles. It seems like they just refilled it from construction last time.
Social Media has a lot of pictures showing the vehicles around the castle:

The castle will have a darker blue added to the roof. A water color ‘rose’ wash will be added to the white areas, and gold leaf put on the turrets, trim and other elements of the castle too. Here’s the concept art of the finished castle:
It is supposed to be finished later this summer.
