Today Disney has given us a bunch of information about the Disneyland reopening. Included are some helpful hints about where to find characters when the parks reopen.

Now, I’m assuming, that like Walt Disney World, it will not be typical character interaction, but more of a photo opportunity, but in some ways it’s a bit better. At this point in time we don’t know when regular character interaction will return to the parks, but at least Disney is still making sure fans get to see some of their favorite friends.

Here’s where to find characters:

Disneyland:

In Disneyland you will be able to find characters throughout the day.

Mickey Mouse and friends will be on the steps of the Main Street, U.S.A railroad station or in Mickey’s Toontown.

Disney princesses will be at the Royal Theatre in Fantasyland.

Captain Jack Sparrow will be seen on the balconies of the New Orleans Square.

Miguel from ‘Coco’ will make ‘intermittent appearances’ at the Rancho del Zocolo in Frontierland.

Galaxy’s Edge:

If you are looking for Star Wars characters you will find several of them, including Chewbacca, Rey and Vi Moradi above the speeder bike garage at Black Spire Station.

Stormtroopers and Kylo Ren will be patrolling the platform by the TIE Echelon ship.

Disney California Adventure

You can find various character appearances at Carthay Circle and in the Pixar Pier Bandshell.

Disney Junior stars like Vampirina and Doc McStuffins will be located on the Disney Theater stage in the Hollywood Land area.

Marvel’s Avengers

In Hollywood Land you will find some of the Avengers characters on the Hollywood Backlot stage including: Black Widow, Captain America, Spider-Man, Thor, Black Panther and the Dora Milaje.

Remember that the Avengers Campus will open in Disney California Adventure on June 4th as well.

Check those locations first. I’m sure other areas could pop up so keep an eye out for that.
